Psychological Testing

Our Autism Spectrum Disorders Psychological Testing Clinic at Coast Family is meant to make families feel at home. We do our best to get to know our client's families and their concerns so that we can create an assessment that answers all of your questions and provides recommendations specifically tailored to your family.

Click the 'Home' Tab on the Navigation Bar at the top of the screen and scroll all the way down to 'Psychological Testing' to see more detailed information about the ASD Psychological Testing Clinic.

Individual/ Family Therapy

After assessment, we work with families to share the important information we received from the assessment in order to improve communication with those influencing your child's life. This can include (but is not limited to) collaborating with:

  • Siblings

  • Other famly members

  • Teachers

  • Teacher's Assistants

  • Speech Therapists

  • Occupational Therapists

  • Psychiatrists

  • ABA Therapists

We believe that having all of the important people in a child's life using the same "vocabulary" as well as hilighting your child's strengths, will provide a foundation for social and academic success.

Family and individual therapy sessions can focus on a variety of goals including (but not limited to): identifying and utilizing strengths, practicing social skills and good sportsmanship, family communication, dealing with bullying/teasing, initiating conversations with peers, finding a social group, dating/online safety rules (particularly for teens and young adults), puberty, anger and mood management, developing anxiety regulation skills, etc.

School & Community Support

We provide parents/caregivers with support in obtaining Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) Services as well as obtaining and attending Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings. We also work actively with families to connect them with resources in the area such as social skills groups, and/or family support groups.

Contact us at the phone number/e-mail listed below for more information, or to discuss your specific needs and we would be glad to discuss further.
