Getting Started
Whether this is your first time coming to see a psychologist, or you've been before, our goal is to have the first session be focused on asking you questions in order to get to know you better, and to gain a greater understanding of your goals.
For those coming in for family therapy, parents/caregivers may prefer to meet individually without their child/teen for the first session, and then bring their child/teen to the second meeting. We are more than happy to accommodate the various ways families would like to initiate the therapeutic process, and can talk more about this during the initial phone consultation.
In order to set up an initial in-person meeting, we would need to first set up a free brief phone consultation, which usually lasts about 10-15 minutes, where we can discuss your goals and reasons for seeking therapy support. During this call you can ask any questions that you have. You can initiate this process by calling us at the number listed below, sending an e-mail with the best times to reach you, or sending a message through the 'Contact' tab on the Navigation Bar above.
